 Karen Peterson's seventeen year
foresight into the dance community and her
inclusive vision at the Excello Dance Space are
to be applauded. She is one of the few ground-breaking choreographers nationwide that has embraced
"mixed-ability" dance and was recently mentioned in Dance Magazine for her ongoing research into
integrated dance. Peterson has presented her work in Spain, Scotland, Italy and Brazil as a
cultural ambassador for the State of Florida and has received choreography fellowships from Miami
Dade Department of Cultural Affairs and from the State of Florida, Division of Cultural Affairs.
Help us to continue this energy. Your 2007 tax deductible donation to the Excello 100 Club will produce
events at Excello, commission new dance work and continue our community outreach to medical centers,
schools and rehabilitation centers.
